Products expected from Forest Management study program is a graduate who has a scientific basis and knowledgeable enough to be able to manage a forest resource areas. The definition of forest areas, the main point is Production Forest Management Unit (Kesatuan Penanganan Hutan Produksi/ KPHP). The main foundations that need to be controlled by the Graduate of Forest Management Study Program are:

The survey base for mapping clan, network of roads/ opening the region purposes

Biological flora and fauna clan including how to manage growth and regeneration.

Valuation of wood clan, other forest products.

The management foundation, economic and business to evaluate and handle the forest resources as a business unit.
Forest management study program learn about forest planning, forest biometrics, forest management and economy in general, including people’s welfare approach around the forest in managing forest.

For the purposes of education, research, and community service, Faculty of Forestry has been carries out cooperation with forest companies/ industries, both state-owned and private. The unit of the companies is living laboratory/ field for students of Forest Management study program, or the educative staff.
