Dalam rangkaian kegiatan peringatan Dies Natalis ke-50 dan Reuni Emas Fakultas Kehutanan UGM, pada tanggal 27 Agustus 2013 telah dilaksanakan Seminar Region Jawa dengan tema “Hutan Penyelamat Pulau Jawa”, mengambil tempat di Pusdiklat Perum Perhutani Madiun. Mengambil momentum yang sama, dalam rangkaian kegiatan Seminar Region Jawa di Madiun tersebut, pada tanggal 26 Agustus 2013 juga dilakukan Pengukuhan Pengurus KAGAMAHUT (Keluarga Alumni Gadjah Mada Kehutanan)
