Yogyakarta, 5/3 – Alumni of the Faculty of Forestry UGM class of 2006 have made a breakthrough by launching the Pioneer Scholarship Program Batch I. The scholarship of Rp. 1,000,000 is intended for final year students (Semester 7 and or 8) so that they can complete their studies on time. This scholarship has provided a solution to the problem of the length of study of undergraduate students, whose average is currently more than 4 years. One of the problems is the cost of conducting research, which can be expensive.

The students who received the Pioneer Batch I scholarship are the Class of 2019 and 2020, namely, Yusuf Mulkiansyah (19/442360/KT/09058), Fani Agestina Putri (20/459097/KT/09262), Barrotut Taqiyyah (20/461973/KT/09356), Keya Naulina Immanuella Limbong (20/459119/KT/09284) and Vanessa Silvana M. (20/462066/KT/09449)

Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs Ir. Dwiko Budi Permadi, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, expressed his gratitude to the Faculty of Forestry Alumni Class of 2006, which has supported the implementation of education at the Faculty of Forestry, UGM through the provision of Pioneer Batch 1 scholarships.

According to Linda Wige Ningrum, S.Hut., M.Sc., the 2006 Forestry Alumni Coordinator, said this scholarship program is issued annually, and there is hope that it will remain sustainable. (Humas/FKT)
